Darci is a certified holistic health coach and culinary nutrition expert who passionately focuses on helping women attain health, strength, grace and confidence from within. Her unique combination of health coaching and nutritional knowledge, coupled with a very intuitive, energetic, joyful, and spiritual living approach, enables her to get to the root of what truly matters with her clients and guides them towards a better and more empowered life.
Her personal life experience based on continual learning prompted a passion for holistic health and the need to help her clients live their dreams like she’s doing. Hence, she offers women the tools to get past the overwhelming stage of where to begin so they can love their body, feel stronger and chase their dreams.
Darci is certified as a holistic health coach by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, holistic health practitioner by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, and as a culinary nutrition expert advisor by the Academy of Culinary Nutrition. She organizes nutritional workshops and offers personalized training on health and nutrition for women and those seeking to improve their health and wellbeing. She also provides one-on-one health and nutritional coaching which can be done in person, via Skype, or over the phone.
When working with Darci, you are given a safe and non-judgmental place to share your vulnerabilities, challenges, fears, and downfalls. You will also receive help in building new sustainable healthy habits that will enable you to overcome your past experiences. She ensures that every client enjoys the process of building new habits and that is why her clients come out healthier physically, but are also spiritually and mentally transformed at the end of their program. I continue to learn about life through my experiences. My three kids have taught me about sacrifice, love and patience. Twenty years of executive-level marketing work has taught me about the stress of meeting lofty expectations, both internal and external. Taking steps to take my health and wellness into my own hands has shown me that anyone can do it, but you have to want to do it, you have to commit, and you need the right tools. It is one step at a time. Before long you have woven many small changes into a new HealthStyle!
Learning to Live a New HealthStyle:
As a child of the 60s, I have seen the spectrum of what we know to be good and bad for us change drastically. I spent my first thirty- five years sustaining myself with Diet Cokes and cups of coffee, fast-food and processed food, and smoking, and wondering why I was a total stress case always getting colds and feeling run down! I knew I wasn't living the healthiest life, but I honestly had no idea where to start, I just knew I wanted to be a more robust version of me. I lacked self- awareness, but once I looked myself in the mirror- transformation began to unfold. I am now in the best health of my life. The path wasn’t easy; I spent the last ten years researching and teaching myself how to improve my health and mental well- being. I now indeed “walk the talk” and live what I teach. My core HealthStyle principles are sleep, nutrition, exercise and self–care like meditation. My food philosophy is “Eat whole real food, made with love”.
Getting Real About Change:
My formal studies enable me to create high-quality nutrition and lifestyle plans that will be based on your bio-individuality. What works for one person may not work for another. I realize my diet and my dedication to cooking whole real food is not the same level that will work for everyone. So, while I keep up to date on the newest advancements in health and nutrition, I ensure that anything I recommend is backed by real science and is designed to fit into your real life.
