Nutta Mach...Green Matcha Smoothie

This Gem came from a pantry clean out and our love of arugula and matcha tea.  It is so nutrient dense, but you won't notice that as you enjoy the crisp fresh taste with a hint of nut!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 green apple sliced
  • 1 handful of baby spinach
  • 1/2 handful of arugula
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp cocoa nibs
  • 2 slices frozen peaches
  • 1 1/2 tbsp matcha powder
  • 3 ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup coconut water (you can use just water)
  • 1 cup water

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add the liquids, then the greens and fruit, followed by all the seeds and nibs, matcha powder and maple syrup.  Blend on high for about 2 minutes.  Enjoy!
